Great Strides

Our family recently made a commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help raise money to find a cure for cystic firbrosis (CF) - a life-threatening disease. We made this commitment because the grandson of a partner in Dave's law firm was recently diagnosed with CF. His name is Elliot and he is only 6 months old. On May 17th we are participating in the Great Strides walk to raise money and awareness for the CF Foundation. We don't want anyone to feel pressured to donate, but if seeing Elliot's story inspires you to action (as it did for us), we encourage you to get involved. You can either donate to the cause or join our team and walk on the 17th. Several years ago, the life expectancy of someone with cystic fibrosis was only 6 years old. Thanks to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its research, the life expectancy of someone with CF is now in the mid-30's. While treatment is improving, it's just not enough. Wouldn't it be great to find a cure?

Select the Utah and Idaho Chapter in the pull down menu and click ‘Find a Walk’. Then click on ‘Register’ next to the walk listed at Wheeler Farm. If you would like to join our team, click the option for an individual signing up on a team and select ‘Walking for Elliot’. Then follow the registration instructions.
