Last night for our treat for Family Home Evening, we went to the local Maverik. It's a gas station up the street and it just reopened after some renovation. We are so desperate for anything new around here, that the Maverik has to do. After taking a tour of the new store, we took the kids to the candy isle and told them they could pick out any treat they wanted. They each immediately went for the 15 cent Tootsie Roll suckers. Gotta love a cheap date! They were in heaven and loved every lick.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I am afraid that before we know it they will be wanting SUV's and Sport car's. Yikes!!!! If only we could all be content with just a tootsie pop. ;P
