The other day, I was taking Eva upstairs to put her in her crib for her nap and on the way up, the twins asked if they could color. I said sure, just wait for me to come back down. So in the amount of time that it took to walk upstairs, put the baby down and come back downstairs, they had opened the pantry (where we keep the coloring books) and decided to get out rice instead. They shook the already-opened bag until the contents were all over the floor. When I came down, they said they were skating on it. I know it could have been MUCH worse. Next to the rice is the flour, sugar, powdered sugar, not to mention all the coloring supplies. I guess it's time to repair the child-proof latch on the pantry door. Either that or move the coloring books. It's been a few days and I'm still finding random grains of rice. YUM!!

Who's Watching These Kids???
I'll admit, I hear stories of kids that have colored all over the walls or painted the house with Crisco and think, who's watching those kids? Those kids must be left alone for hours or something! I knew that was going to come around and get me someday...

Hey Heather,
Who is watching those kids anyway? =-)
This from the mom who found her 2 year old (Breanna) covered from head to toe in ball point pen after naptime!
BTW, we sure had fun last weekend!
Love it. At least you weren't trying to "hide" from your kids like I find myself doing sometimes! ;) and yes, could have been worse...like strawberry jam painted on bodies and the kitchen floor. (I wasn't hiding on this one...totally dad's fault!!) You guys are adorable!!
