I Guess I Need to Shave: Part 2
If you read a previous post (March), I noted that Sophia felt my legs and asked me if I had fur. So, the other day, William ran his hands on my legs and said, "Mom, you have grass?" Seriously, it had only been two days since I shaved but apparently it was long enough to be mistaken for grass.
My Little Diva
Sophia isn't much into girl things- until now. I'd say within the last couple of months (I think it started with the Princess Party in June) she's all about being a girl. Every day she asks to wear a skirt so she can twirl. She loves wearing crowns and tells me almost daily that she needs a gown. You can see from the photo below, she'd definitely has an opinion on style and thinks she's hot stuff.
Going to the Dentist
I had a dental appointment this month and decided to bring Will with me. My dad's the dentist, so I don't think he minded too much. My dad gave Will his first check-up and he did great! He was a little nervous and really didn't want to open his mouth, but grandpa has the touch and got him to cooperate. Will had a great time and was thrilled to get a new toothbrush and a toy. He was so proud.
I Think I'm Part Fish
I don't think it's a coincidence that I'm a Pisces (the sign is the fish). I LOVE the water- in any form. I love oceans, lakes, pools and the beverage. Fortunately, my kids love it too. They each love bath time. Eva screams every time I take her out of the tub. They also love to go swimming. Here's a few photos of my fish.
11 Months Going on 12 years
I can't believe my baby girl is turning one next month! The time has passed so quickly. She thinks she's a big girl trapped in a baby's body. She "talks" on the phone (below) and mostly plays with the twins toys- baby toys are beneath her. She plays with their toy cars, blocks and their play kitchen. She only wants real food, none of this baby food stuff. She hollers at us at dinner if we don't share. She's so grown-up and yet she REFUSES to walk. She's been crawling for months now and seems quite satisfied to keep it that way. Fine by me- she's easier to catch.
She's just as mischievous as her sister.

That is so funny that Sophia has to have a skirt that spins. Katherine is the exact same way. She only has one skirt that spins properly and must wear it every day.
I don't really want to hear about YOUR baby refusing to walk!! =-) I still bet she beats Braden! He will walk from person to person or across the room if you are holding a cookie! He still refuses to use it as a form of transportation though. Keep going Eva!
LOL- that was a great post. I love the shaving story. Partly b/c I remeber the one Sophia made and that one made me giggle, and partly b/c I can so relate. These kids just need to keep thier hands to themselves...who am I kidding right? At least it's not the husbands making the comments or it just might give us a complex!
It was so great to see you the other day! Your kids are SO cute! I wish we lived closer...
