For my sanity, I've tried to shelter my kids from certains things: the ice cream truck, Costco samples and Lagoon. My fear is that having so much fun and delight in these previously mentioned things will lead my children into thinking that they will occur on a daily basis. Unfortunately, this week I caved and we went to Stake Lagoon Day, hoping that they wouldn't ask to go again every day for the rest of the summer. Wish me luck. That said, we had a blast. Here's some photos of the day:
Waiting for the first ride to begin:

They loved it!

Driving the cars:

The ride had to be stopped TWICE because she just couldn't keep her hands in the boat. I was mortified!

They loved Puff the Magic Dragon (that is a happy face on Sophia)

Eva was such a big girl on all the rides!

We had a great time and the kids were so sad to leave the park. Let's hope they understand that we aren't going back for a year. It just builds the anticipation, right?

What cute pictures! You are just getting them ready for Disney Land, right?
Your kids are absolutely adorable!!
P.S. I definitely agree. I cringe every time I hear the Ice cream truck drive by!
I absolutely agree :) good luck!
Wow Eva looks so old already! And by the way, once you have exposed them to samples at Costco your trips will be much happier! Especially when they do samples of Jelly Bellies.
Oh I totally agree with you Heather! Especially with the ice cream truck. Dax doesn't even know what it is since I have sheltered it from him so much! :) But Lagoon is a must once a summer! The kids have a blast there!
